Who is eligible for a personal or home loan?

Yes. Both salaried individuals and self-employed / business owners can apply. Self-employed applicants are typically assessed on business turnover, profitability, ITR and banking history. Our team helps match you with lenders suited to your profile.

Does checking my eligibility affect my credit score?

Accepted Answer

No. Using our on-site Eligibility Checker or EMI Calculator does not access your credit report and has no impact on your credit score. A formal loan application by a lender may involve a credit check — we will always tell you before that happens.

How is EMI calculated?

Accepted Answer

EMI = P·r·(1+r)^n / ((1+r)^n − 1), where P is the principal, r is the monthly interest rate (annual rate ÷ 12 ÷ 100), and n is the tenure in months. Our EMI Calculator does this live and also shows total interest and a principal-vs-interest breakup. Figures are indicative.
